Our second week in Uganda was probably the toughest week for me. We started off by taking a 12 hour bus journey all the way to the south west of the country, where we started our 5 day trek through mountains, lakes, and forests. Meeting all the different people only continued to prove that the Ugandan people are as beautiful as their country.
The end of our trek was an incredible trek through the Impenetrable Bwindi Forest, where we were fortunate enough to track the last remaining silverback gorillas and see them in the wild. A real once in a lifetime experience, one which I will never forget!
